As we begin to transition into spring there are a few things we can do to for ourselves to prepare.

Transition is a beautiful thing. It is through these changes we can grow. One of my favorite quotes is, “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t living.”

Change is constant and is something we can always count on.

A new season brings new beginnings. Spring brings about new growth. We begin to see the leaves of trees grow back and flowers start to blossom.

We too can grow and blossom this season..

Here are a few things we can do prepare for spring:

1.) De-clutter your home and workplace!

Keeping clutter around your home and workspace will begin to negatively effect your energy. It will cause unnecessary stress and anxiety. You can brighten your mood and your surroundings by de-cluttering all of the things you don’t need or use. Clean out your closet, your desk, kitchen, bathroom, car, or anywhere. You will be surprised with how much better you will feel!

* Tip: Hold your item and see if it sparks joy for you or serves a USEFUL purpose. If the answer is no, get rid of it!

We can survive with a lot less things than you think.

Need some inspo? I highly recommend watching ‘Tidying Up’ by Marie Kondo on Netflix. She gives great tips and will get you in the spring cleaning mood!

2.) Go outdoors and connect with nature.

Spending time in nature can be so beneficial to healing the mind and soul. Go outside, get fresh air, and feel the sun touch your skin. Plant some flowers or seeds in your yard or in flower pots around your home and/ or office.

Personally, I LOVE adding plants in my home. I love them so much I have an Etsy shop, Soul Full Grows, where I sell contemporary air plant designs to brighten your home and workspace.

3.) Let go of the things that do not serve you.

Holding on to feelings and emotions that do not serve you will only do you harm. A few ways to find release: Meditate, practice yoga, journal, find forgiveness towards others and/ or yourself, and find gratitude for all you do have.

As we prepare for spring we must take steps towards growth. We prepare for spring by focusing on ourselves and what we need in order to reach that level of growth. It is through that growth where we can blossom into the beautiful flowers we are meant to be!
